Prerequisites

To study a Masters degree in Physics an individual will usually have to have studied Physics at A level along with two other A level subjects. The entry requirements are subject to change, but currently individuals are asked for AAB. Work experience of at least 2 weeks working in a relevant field is required. As well as an undergraduate degree of at least 2.2.

Core requisites

Taking 12 months to complete with work experience a key part in being able to complete this degree and provide the pathway to become professionally qualified in Physics leading to endless career possibilities. A 3 month research activity will take place in an external laboratory or company.

Course summary

Building upon a Physics degree this Masters will focus on advanced classic physics, mathematical methods, research projects, research skills and self-study projects. With a 3 month research activity which will take place in an external laboratory or company to help the individual to gain experience for a future career.

Note

A strong physics and mathematics background is necessary for this course.
