Prerequisites

To study a Mathematics & Physics degree an individual will usually have to have studied Physics and Mathematics at A level along with one other A level subject. The entry requirements are subject to change, but currently individuals are asked for AAA. Work experience of at least 2 weeks working in a relevant field is required.

Core requisites

Taking four years to complete with placements and work experience a key part in being able to complete this degree and provide the pathway to become professionally qualified in Mathematics & Physics leading to endless career possibilities. A research activity in final year will take 4 months to complete and will be in an external laboratory or company.

Course summary

This course will give the individual a deeper understanding of mathematics and allow the exploration of how it can be applied in order to solve physics problems. The 4 month research activity in the final year will allow the individual to gain experience and skills that will be transferable to a future career.

Note

This course should be studied if the individual has an understanding for the Universe and a passion for mathematics.
